Lytle Family

In the 1890 Page County, Iowa History, page 474: "Mr. [John G.] McMullen was united in marriage, June 3, 1869, to Miss M. J. Lytle, a daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth (Secrest) Lytle."

From Steven J. Cramer: lazyjcfarm@canby.com

Isaac Lytle was the first husband of my great grandmother, Elizabeth
Seacrest. Isaac and Elizabeth had two children, Mary Jane (M.J. Lytle in 1890
History) and Francis Lytle.

Isaac and my great grandfather, Joseph Cramer, were brothers-in-law who lived in Columbus, Indiana at the time.

Elizabeth Lytle nee Seacrest was the sister of my great grandfather's first wife, Mary Lytle.

Isaac was killed in the Mexican War in in 1848.

Elizabeth was the aunt of my grandfather's three children from his first
marriage to Mary who died in 1846. On August 9, 1849, Joseph and Elizabeth
were married and had twelve more children. My Grandfather was number
thirteen out of fifteen that he fathered.

This in why I am interested in Elizabeth Seacrest. We know very little
about the Seacrest family but now thanks to your web site, we have another
clue.
