My great-grandparents were Samuel H. Leathers and wife Eliza E. They moved to Iowa from Indiana between 1863 and 1866 and lived in Page Co East River Twp until after 1880. I do not have any information on Eliza except that she was thought to be a widow with one or two children when she married Samuel. Samuel's second wife was also a widow with a son Riley. Samuel Leathers was born Jun3 10, 1836 in Indiana and died March 28, 1891 Sumner Co, Kansas.
