The corrections for this family (#404 ) on the 1860 census are as follows: James Brislin (b.Abt 1834/Ireland), Margaret C. Brislin (b.Abt 1833/Ireland), Margaret A Brislin (b.1857/Ohio) & Andrew J Brislin (b.1859/Valley Twp, Page County Iowa). They arrived in Page County, Ia sometime between 1857 & 1859. They traveled from Ohio with a man named Andrew Platter. The Brislins were in Page County at least until 1863. They eventually ended up in Villisca, Iowa (Jackson Twp) Montgomery county. They were there for the next 30 years. I’ve included a little bit of the information on the Brislins from my Ancestry.com tree.

Below is a short write-up on James Brislin by my Great Aunt

FYI A bit of info on Andrew Platter. He lived in Page County in 1870 according to the US Census of 1870.  I believe he is the gentleman that traveled to Iowa with the Brislins.
