LT. CHARLES T. MOLITOR

RECEIVES SECOND OAK LEAF CLUSTER

From an eighth Air Force Bomber station, England comes news that Second Lt. Charles T. Molitor of Sibley, B-17 Flying Fortress copilot in the 351st Bombardment Group has been decorated with a second Oak Leaf Cluster to his Air Medal for "meritorious achievement" on the combat missions over enemy France.

The citation accompanying the award read in part: "The courage, coolness and skill displayed by this officer upon himself and the Armed Forces of the United States."

Lt. Molitor, 23 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Molitor, is a veteran of eighteen bombing attacks on enemy installations. He was a driver for the Kleeman Transfer Company in Sioux City before entering the army June 22, 1942.
