Royal Neighbors

Their auxiliary lodge, Royal Neighbors of America, started Golden Sheaf Camp here with a charter dated February 1, 1901. Names on the charter were: Clara Magee, Eliza H. Magee, Fannie Telkamp, Allie Shirk, Josephine L. Solon, Ella Jackson, Lenna Coleman, Maggie, Cantrall, Mary Ann McDonald, Margaret Sweeney, Pauline Seufferlein, Sarah G. Berry, Dr. R.A. Cushman, Lou E. Zimmerman, Theo. Zimmerman, M.C. Cutting, Emma Cutting, D.J. Wells, Ellen A. Wells, Nellie C. McGrath, Tacy A. Roberts, Sarah F. Crippen, Hattie Ramsey, Eliza McGrath, Carrie M. Burns, Rose C. Foley, Mary Ella Spellisy.
Mrs. Pauline Seufferlein still lives in Sanborn though not a member anymore.
Present officers are: Oracle, Clara Guse; vice oracle, Bernice DeVoll; past oracle, Leona Krueger; chancellor, Goldie Whalen; recorder, Nelle Foley; receiver, Anne Bohan; marshall, Mable Block; ass’t. marshall, Gretta Protextor; inner sentinel, Maye Leemkuil; outer sentinel, Alice Watson.
