PAULLINA,Iowa — Evelyn I. Kopp, 80, of Paullina died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at the Wide View Rest Home in Paullina.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church in Paullina with the Rev. Donald Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina. The Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home in Paullina is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kopp was born Jan. 7, 1919, in Primghar, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Elise (Muckler) Carnahan. She attended school in Primghar, graduating in 1938. She married Arthur August Kopp on June 23, 1939, in Canton, S.D.
After their marriage, the couple lived near Primghar. After her husband's return from World War II, they moved to Sutherland and eventually spent most of their lives farming in that area.
In 1985, they retired, moving to Paullina. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and fishing.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Paullina.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Meyer and her husband, Ronald, of Paullina; two, grandchildren, Shelly Shipley of La Veta, Calif. and Todd Meyer of Omaha; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Gerald and his wife, Eleanor, of Primghar; Donald and his wife, Alice, of Worthington, Minn., and Francis and his wife, Marjorie of Sutherland, and other relatives.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, two sisters and two brothers.
