ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH

~ Was incorporated in 1882. Service was held in the school house until the first church was built, it was erected in the year 1890. The present church was erected in the year 1929, which is a very substantial edifice. The finest church building in town. The first church building was moved in the rear and is now being used as a school and parish hall. They also have a fine parsonage, near the church. The following pastors have served Zion's congregation since 1882: Reisinger, Dormseif, Happel, the present pastor has served since the year 1910. For 36 years.
