ROYAL NEIGHBORS CAMP NO. 1068 The Royal Neighbors Camp No. 1068, was organized at Wilton, July 6, 1898, with the seventeen original members being : Josie Sherberger, Emma F. Duffe, Anna B, Maurer, Ida Maurer, Rose Maurer, Rose Budelier, Kate C. Frenzel, Ellen M. Maurer, Dr. E. A. King, George Wagner, Kate Rininsland, Mary Marolf, Anna Budelier, Dr. A. R. Leith, Mary Schroeder, Dora Bannick, and Anna Schmidt.
The Juvenile Camp was organized in December, 1927, with 30 members, most of whom are affiliated with the adult camp when their policies expired.
On March 4, 1935, the Wild Rose Camp, No.6683, of White Pigeon, consolidated with theIowa Camp No. 1068.
At the present time there are 92 Benefits, 37 Socials, and 38 Juvenile members.
The regular lodge meeting is held the third Wednesday night of each month and the Social meeting, the first Wednesday of each month.
During December of this year, new officers were elected for both the Lodge and Social, at which time Committees are also appointed.
The present officers are : Oracle, Emma Hamann; Vice Oracle, Nellie Harper; Past Oracle, Ardena Masterson; Chancellor, Bessie Brenner; Recorder, Maybelle Darting; Receiver, Irene Sheetz; Marshal, Frances Fick; Assistant Marshal, Ethel Christensen; Inner Sentinel, Genevieve Christensen; Outer Sentinel, Catherine Marine; Managers, 1 year, Louise DeVilbiss; Managers, 2 years, Blanche Shea; Managers, 3 years, Rose Nolte; Physicians, Dr. Leith and Dr. Whetstine; Captain, Cora Hoover; Flag Bearer, Mary Thurston; Faith, Mary Jean Jarvis; Modesty, Violet Amerine; Unselfishness, Susie Gill; Endurance, Lillian Chapman; Courage, Clara Ellis; and Musician, Emma Smith.
The officers of the Social are: President, EmmaSmith; Vice-President, Ethel Christensen; and Secretary-Treasurer, Laura Fulton.
