PURITY CHAPTER 365
ORDER OF EASTERN STARWith a membership of twenty-seven, the Purity Chapter No. 365, Order of the Eastern Star, was organized on October 27, 1904. This membership has now increased to two-hundred-and-thirteen.
The first officers were : Mattie Agnew, worthy matron; G. B. Carson, worthy patron; Harriet Strong, associate matron; Della Rider, conductress; Mable Strong, associate conductress; Irene Clark, secretary; Louisa Linth, treasurer; Lucy McAulay, chaplain; Katherine Plitt, marshall; Edna Focht, organist; Helen Smith, Adah; Jesse Rider, Ruth; Mabel Carson, Esther; Jennie Brown, Martha; Catherine Carson, Electa; Anna Walker, warden; and Dave Piggott, sentinel.
The present officers are :Worthy Matron, Gretchyn Voss; Worthy Patron, Howard Murrison; Associate Matron, Pauline Maurer; Associate Patron, Leo Maurer; Conductress, Marion Henderson; Associate Conductress, Eva Lou Murrison; Secretary, Minnie Ochiltree; Treasurer, Catherine Ochiltree; Organist, Emma Birkhofer; Chaplain, Irene Robertson; Marshall, Mary Maurer; Adah, Marjorie Fulton; Ruth, Harriet Voss; Esther, Marion Kemp; Martha, Imogene McCabe; Electa, Esther Norton; Warden, Edith Rubel; Sentinel, Lee Norton.
