Resolved, That in the death of Bro. George Fitzsimmons Island Grange has lost one of its most valuable and trustworthy members, and one whose loss can never be replaced within its walls. As a brother no one could have been more kind or considerate; as a member he was always punctual: and as a “patron” he had untimited “Earth in God.” Be it further.
Resolved,That we tender our heartfelt sympathy to Sister Fitzsimmons in her sad bereavement, and instruct our Secretary to present her with a copy of these resolutions, and also to request their publication in each of the Muscatine Papers.
