DEATH OF H. H. HILDEBRAND.
Took Place This Morning at His Home in West Liberty.

This morning shortly after 8 o’clock at his home in West Liberty occurred the death of H. H. Hildebrand. Mr. Hildebrand had not been well for some little time, having been afflicted with a chronic stomach trouble, which in connection with his advanced years eventually caused his death. Mr. Hildebrand was born in 1831 at Paradise, Lancaster county, Pa., and came to Iowa in 1856. He settled on a farm at Cedar Valley, living at that place until 1893, when he came to West Liberty. He was a faithful and consistent member of the Methodist church and a great temperance worker, being a strong believer and earnest worker along this line. He is survived by his wife, three sons, three daughters and ten grandchildren. He lived to a ripe old age and was loved and respected by all who knew him and his family have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist church at West Liberty.
