DEMISE OF MRS. JOS. W. WILL.

At 10:15 last evening at her home in Moscow township, occurred the death of Mrs. Joseph W. Will, after an illness of eight months with cancer to the liver. Mrs. Will was born in Darm..fadt, Germany December 12, 1841, and consequently was in the fifty-eighth year of age. When ten years old she came to America and Muscatine county, and here she has resided ever since. Her maiden name was Sophia Shafnit, and in 1860 she was united in marriage to Joseph W. Will, who mourns the loss of a faithful spouse. Three brothers and a sister also survive, they being Henry and Jacob J. Shafnit of this city, George Fred Shafnit of Moscow township, and Mrs. John Apel of this city.

Mrs. Will was a noble woman and consistent Christian, being a communicant of the Lutheran church.

The funeral is appointed to take place Thursday morning at 10 o’clock from the residence, eight miles north of Muscatine, with Rev. Julius Doden of Wilton to conduct the services.
