GONE TO HER REWARD
Aug 6, 1899 (hand written)

A long and useful earthly pilgrimage ended when the venerable ANASTATIA DULANTY departed this life Sunday evening at 8:30 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Michael Griffin, of Lake township. Mrs. Dulanty had been in failing health for the last three months, death being attributable to the infirmities incident to old age. Deceased was born in County Tipperary, Ireland, 87 years ago. When thirty years of age she came to Muscatine to reside, living on West Eighth street until a few years ago when she moved to the country home of her daughter.

She was a reliet of the late John Dunanty, who preceded her to the other world twelve years ago. Two daughters mourn her departure, Mrs. William Fuller of Chicago, and Mrs. Griffin of this county. Religiously she was a devoted believer in the faith of Mother Church.

The funeral is appointed to take place from St. Mathias church this (Tuesday) morning at 9’oclock.
