IN DEATH’S EMBRACE
TIMM

At his home on West Fourth street yesterday morning occurred the death of FREDERICK C. TIMM, after an illness of one week with stricture of the esophagus. Mr. Timm was a son of Fatherland, and in the prime of his young manhood left his native province of Mecklenberg, Germany, for this land of greater freedom and possibilities, coming to Muscatine in 1859, since which year he has resided here constantly, his wife preceding him to the world beyond about a year ago. The deceased was an honest, industrious citizen, and for many years pursued the vocation of teamster. His wide circle of friends and acquaintances will be shocked and pained to learn of his demise. The mourning children are three daughters and two sons, they being Mrs. George Young of Colorado Springs, Col., the Misses Helen and Millie Timm, and Fred L., of this city, and Charles L., who was one of the brave volunteers in the Spanish-American war, and who is now a member of a Louisiana company stationed at Savannah, Ga., and …..(article cut off)
