SUDDEN DEATH AT WEST LIBERTY

The JOURNAL received a telephone message this morning announcing the sudden death of one of the oldest citizens, Mr. W.C. Harris, who was found dead yesterday morning in the wood shed at his family residence in that town. The cause of his death was heart disease. The deceased was 68 years of age and was one of Wapsie’s most respected citizens. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn, they being W. C., of Fairfield; Mrs. Aaron Hise, of West Liberty; Mrs. W.S. Luse, of the same place; Sidney Harris, of Fairfield, and Edward Harris of Wapsie.

The funeral is appointed for tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock, under the auspices of the Old Fellows, of which organization the deceased had long been a member.
