DEATH OF BERNARD FULLER

Bernard Fuller died at his home on Pine street, at 12:30 o’clock this morning, of stomach trouble.

The deceased had been in poor health for some time, but was not confined to his bed until a few days ago when he great rapidly worse until his death. He was born in Marrendorf, West Phalia, Prussia, on Jan. 26, 1827. In 1851 he was married in his native place and to Miss Bertha Washoff and came to America in the same year, landing at New Orleans, where he remained eighteen months, going from there to St. Louis, where he resided three years. In April of 1856 he came to Muscatine, where he has resided over since. For many years he was in the grocery business but retired a few years ago, entrusting the business he had built up in the hands of his sons. He was a man of sterling qualities and esteemed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Joseph B., Charles B., Anna B., Mrs. G.W. Lindle, Bernard A., Della B. and Antone B.

The time of the funeral has not yet been appointed.
