DIED.
June 25, 1894 (hand written)

At the home of her son in South Muscatine at 8:30 o’clock yesterday morning, occurred the death of MRS. HANNAH TROXEL, in the 76th year of her age. The deceased had been confined to her home for a month with an attack of dropsy, which combined with the infirmities of old age, caused her death. Mrs. Troxel was one of the pioneer residents of Muscatine, then Bloomington, her advent dating back to a time when two houses were the only buildings in the place, and for 57 years she has resided continuously in this locality. Her death is mourned by two sons, three sisters and six grandchildren.

The funeral is appointed to take place Wednesday morning at 9:30 o’clock, with interment in the Essex cemetery, in Drury township, Ill. The last sad rites will be held at the grave.
