DIED
August 1893 (hand written)

The numerous friends of the family will regret to learn of the death of that estimable lady, Mrs. JAMES H. ADY, who passed away Tuesday evening after a lingering illness, at her home in Goshen township.

The deceased’s maiden name was Sarah Gregg. She was born in Harrison county, Ohio, January 23, 1824, and was therefore in her 70th year. She was united in marriage with James H. Ady in Belmont county, Ohio, on the 3d day of January, 1851. The following spring she moved with her husband to Muscatine county and settled on their present homestead, which now adjoins the town of Atalissa, where they have since resided. Her husband and two daughters, Mrs. M. Lundy, of Nebraska, and Mrs. H. J. Ady, of Goshen township, survive.

The funeral is appointed to take place this afternoon at 2 o’clock, with interment in the West Liberty cemetery.
