DIED At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sarah F. Hoover, in Muscatine, Iowa, Jan. 22, 1892, at old age, MRS. SOPHIA HUBBARD, aged 94 years, 3 months, and 7 days.
The deceased was born in Putney, Vermont, Oct. 25, 1797, and had resided for the past twenty-six years with her daughter. Mrs. Sarah F. Hoover, in this city. She had been quite feeble for some time past, although not suffering with any ailment. Death came to her gently, for she passed away while enjoying a peaceful slumber. She was a life-long member of the Congregational church. Two sons and two daughters survive her. They are: G.W. Hubbard, of California, Charles L., of New York, Mary S. Shaw, of New York, and Sarah F. Hoover of this city.
The funeral will probably be held to-morrow from the residence on West Third street.
