DIED

HEALEY – At his home in Moscow township, Sunday, July 12, of bronchitis, PETER HEALEY, aged 21 years, 4 months and 14 days.

Deceased had been ill for a period of several months, but until within the last few weeks his friends had entertained the brightest hopes of his recovery. Last March he visited Colorado Springs and remained there several weeks with the hope of benefiting his health, but he returned feeling no better, and from that time on his sorrowing friends began to realize that the end was only a question of time.

Peter Healey was born in Moscow township, Muscatine county, Feb. 27th, 1870, and resided in this county all his life. He was a young man of promise and possessed in a high degree all those endearing qualities which makes his death all the more cruel a blow to his friends and relatives. The funeral takes place from St. Matthias church on Wednesday, July 15, at 9 o’clock a. m. XXX
