500 EXPECTED TO ENROLL FOR TERM AT WEST LIBERTY

West Liberty schools, opening their regular school year Sept. 3 under Supt. K.C. Smith, have planned but few changes for the year 1933-34, officials have announced.

With a prospective enrollment of approximately 500 students and a staff of 20 teachers, a full academic program will be employed. English courses in the high school are the only ones which have undergone changes, and those, instead of being curtailed, have been extended over the full four years.

Tuition enrollment is expected to be normal. No salary cuts in the teaching staff have been ordered, Mr. Smith said, and only two changes in the personnel have been made. They are Miss Inez McGuire of West Liberty, who will fill a primary post, and Miss Agnes Coggins, of Oelwein, who will fill an English and speech vacancy.
