COUNTY INSTITUTE.
Enrollment of Muscatine County Teachers.
The Muscatine County Teachers' Association will meet at the High School room in this city to-morrow at 10 a. m. Superintendent Covertson informs us that he expects a very general attendance from all the districts of the county. A specially fine order of exercises has been arranged as will see seen by the following:

The variety and attraction provided in the above will compare with the best stage entertainment. The JOURNAL can speak from its own personal knowledge of the calisthenics to be given by Miss Johnson's class, and one's remembrance of Dr. Morgridge's brilliant dissection of the seat of the soul, or life, before the Academy of Science, gives the amplest assurance of his charming the Institute with to-morrow's vivisection. The other parts of the entertainment have the guarantee of names which stand for the best things in the science of teaching.
In connection with the Institute we append a list of Muscatine county's teachers. the name of the place given is the post office address, and does not indicate that the persons are teaching in that locality. Thus, under the head of "Muscatine", the teachers following the name of Miss Fransworth in the left-hand column and of Miss Swanson in the right-hand, are teaching elsewhere, with the exception of Mr. Plumley. Under "Wilton" the names following Miss McMurray's in the one column and Miss McNaughten's in the other, and other "West Liberty" those following Miss Galvin's in one column and Miss Wilson's in the other, are of teachers employed outside of those corporations. With this exception the addresses indicate where the persons are teaching:
