In probate ---

    Your petitioner Respectfully represents that she is the Widow of John Dodge, deceased.

    That said John Dodge, who was at the Time of his death a resident of said County, died in testate on the 29 day Of January A.D. 1889. That he left surviving him your petitioner Flora Dodge, his widow, aged 51 years, a resident of Muscatine County, Iowa, and the following heirs at law, towit: three sons and one daughter. That at the time of his death he was possessed of personal property of the value of about Eight Hundred fifty dollars, which is liable To waste and diminish in value Unless care be taken of the same By some one authorized by law. That there are claims against the estate of deceased, as your petitioner Is informed, which should be paid Wherefore your petitioner asks that she be appointed administratrix of the estate of said John Dodge, deceased.

The undersigned

    respectfully represents and shows to the court that she was heretofore appointed administratrix of the estate of John Dodge, deceased that the personal assets of said estate as shown by the inventory amounted to the sum of eight hundred and twenty five and 60/100 dollars. That she has paid the following claims which were all the claims presented against said estate
