VIRGIL VETTER FAMILY

         Virgil Vetter graduated from Nichols High school. Later he served in the United States Navy for four years during World War II.
         He married Jane Adams from West Liberty, and they farmed south of Nichols where his parents had lived for nine years. Then the Vetters moved to the Adams farm southeast of West Liberty, where they still reside [1984].
         The Vetters are the parents of four sons; Steve Vetter, Mark Vetter, Brian Vetter and Scott Vetter.
         Steve Vetter is married and lives in Washington, Iowa. He and his wife, Kathy Vetter, have two sons, Andy Vetter and Jeff Vetter. Steve is employed by Farm Service, and his wife works at Washington Manufacturing.
         Mark Vetter and his wife, Dawn Vetter, live in West Liberty. Mark works for Mallard company in Iowa City, and Dawn is employed at Musco Lighting in Muscatine.
         Brian Vetter is working is Boise, Idaho.
         Scott Vetter lives in Fremont, Iowa, and works for Pioneer International.
         The Vetter family are members of St. Mary’s church in Nichols.
