         Jack M. Buser was a son of Samuel S. Buser and Anna M. Emerson Buser, born 16 January 1902 at Conesville. He was married 10 January 1925 at St. Mary’s church in Nichols to Margery M. Schildberg, daughter of George F. Schildberg and Stella Adams Schildberg.
         Margery was born 18 July 1901 at Adams Station. Jack Buser was a farmer and carpenter. He died 20 December 1981 in Iowa City and is buried in the Nichols cemetery. He first voted for President Warren Harding in 1922.
         Margery’s grandparents Schildberg and Adams were pioneer settlers of Adams Station. The house where Wesley Stalkfleet is living was built by her grandparents, Elias Adams and Martha M. Adams.
         Jack and Margery were parents of four children: Mary Catherine Buser, Norma Mae Buser, Robert I. Buser and Ila Jean Buser.
         Mary Catherine Buser was born 21 November 1925 at Conesville. She died 4 November 1957 and is buried in the Columbus City cemetery. She was married at St. Joseph’s church in West Liberty to Lyle Morgan.
         Norma Mae Buser Pepper was born at Conesville. She was married in St. Mary’s church in Iowa City.
         Robert I. Buser was born at Conesville. He married at St. Joseph’s church in West Liberty to Bonnie Smith of West Liberty.
         Ila Jean Buser was born at Cranston, Iowa. She married Lloyd Wiley of Columbus Junction, Iowa, in St. Mathias church in Muscatine.
