By June HintermeisterHarold Hintermeister, born 4 November 1921, is the son of Roy Hintermeister and Anna Hintermeister of Muscatine. On 12 January 1941 he married June Kopf, born 16 November 1925, daughter of Horace Kopf and Bessie Kopf. Harold and June have two sons, William Hintermeister and Larry Hintermeister.
Harold and June moved to Nichols and worked for Harry Braun. They lived on various farms in the community and bought their present farm from the late Clarence Metcalf. Later they bought the old Foley place east of town where Larry lives. Bill lives next to his parents on the home place after Harold and June built a new house. Later they bought a 340 acre farm in Missouri.
William Hintermeister married Shari Nath. They have two children, Scott Hintermeister and Shelley Hintermeister. Shar is a housewife and bookkeeper for the farm.
Larry Hintermeister married Donna Wear. They have two children, Larae Hintermeister and Brian Hintermeister. Donna works as a bookkeeper for Brooke Enterprises at West Liberty.
June Hintermeister works at Proctor and Gamble at Iowa City and has been there for twenty-three years.
