HAROLD FORBES FAMILY

         Mary Lou Mills is a daughter of Fred Mills and Odetta Arnold Mills. Harold Forbes is a son of Elmer Forbes and Martha Oberman Forbes. They are parents of four children: Terry Forbes, Debbie Forbes, Tammie Forbes and Glen Forbes.
         Terry Lee Forbes, son of Harold Forbes and Mary Lou Forbes, was born at Tampa, Florida, where his dad was stationed at McDill Air Force Base. The family returned to Iowa when Terry was three months old. He graduated from Lone Tree High school. He played trombone in the band, was a member of the choir and was in Future Farmers of America. Terry went to Muscatine Community college, taking a carpentry course. He attended the United Church of Christ in Lone Tree. Terry was married to Annette Rodgers, daughter of Francis Rodgers and Ione Rodgers of Iowa City. Terry and Annette are expecting their first baby in February 1984.
         Deborah Kay Forbes, daughter of Harold Forbes and Mary Lou Forbes, graduated from Lone Tree High school. She played in the band for four years, sang in the choir and belonged to F. H. A. She worked as a nurse’s aid at the Lone Tree Care Center in afternoons while she was in high school. Debbie was married to Patrick Rodgers, brother of Annette Rodgers Forbes. They have four children. Deb and Terry live across from each other at Thatcher Trailer Court in Iowa City.
         Tammala Mary Forbes, daughter of Harold Forbes and Mary Lou Forbes, graduated from Lone Tree High school where she was in F.H.A. for four years. She sang in the choir and worked in the kitchen at the Lone Tree Care Center in the afternoons after school. She is now employed at Mazzio’s Pizza in Iowa City. Tammie lives with her sister Deb.
         Glen Harold Forbes, son of Harold Forbes and Mary Lou Forbes, attended Lone Tree Community school. He likes to hunt, fish and camp. He has been in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He sings in the school choir. This year he got his first deer tag to hunt deer. It was a good experience for him. Glen scoops walks in the winter to earn extra spending money.
