SOCIETY NOTES

QUIET MARRIAGE TOOK PLACE LAST EVENING.

Last evening occurred the marriage of Eugene Nelson of this city and Miss May Beane, of Adel, Ia., at the home of the groom's father, David Nelson, 215 Cedar street. Rev. H. F. Hartin of the Grace Lutheran church, officiating. The bride and groom were attended by Miss Eda Leach and David Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson left this morning on the Wilton train for Des Moines, where they will make a brief visit, after which they will return to Muscatine where they will make their future home with David Nelson.
