Cemeteries
The Overman Cemetery is the largest in the area and is located on Penn Avenue. It was established by Enoch Overman around 1852 and was given to the people of Atalissa and surrounding area to use. A new incorporated organization was formed to care for the cemetery on June 24, 1997.

The Timberlake Cemetery located at 130th Street is used very little these days. There is very little information on the Timberlake family but Judith Timberlake Anthony lived here. How the name of the cemetery came about we couldn’t determine.
