MARY HOOPES SIMONS Mary Alice Hoopes was the grade school librarian at Old Garfield before her marriage to Earl Simons and after her marriage she moved to Louisiana where Michael J., her 1st son, was born in 1960. They then moved back to the Quad City area and her 2nd son, Robert, was born in 1984.
Her husband Earl worked with Bituminous Casualty Corp. from 1954 -1994. He passed away Nov 18, 1995. She has 4 grandchildren in the Q.C. area. She worked as a librarian from 1969 -1983 in the Q.C. area while her children were in school. She loves to travel and frequently returns to her roots in Muscatine, often visiting friends and her brother Tom Hoopes. She says she can't make this reunion, but wants to be informed when the next will be. We will keep her posted.
