ED REIFERT attended Old Garfield from 1944 thru 1950. During his grade school years I know that Ed played a lot of baseball at Oregon Field in South-end. He was quite a pitcher for us. He married Mattie Freeman August 23, 1957 and they have 3 children. Andy 42; Carolyn 39 and Joe who is 37. Ed is retired from Wonder Bread Co. who provided the kids with bread that builds strong bodies 7 ways after 32 years. Mattie is still considered a housewife.
