SHARON MCCORMICK MILLAGE

    Sharon McCormick was born and raised in Good Ole South-End and attended Old Garfield up thru the 4th grade. After leaving high school she married Richard L. Van Est in 1965. They had 2 children Kevin born in 1967 in Muscatine, Sharlyn born in Iowa City in 1969. She was divorced in 1988.

     While raising her family she worked for Clark Cleaning at Bandag Corp. Then a strange thing happened in 1989, Elmer Millage moved across the street from her. She needed a date for a Christmas party and asked Elmer to go. He accepted and they dated until 1994 when they ties the knot. She was working for Service Master at HON industries for another year and became a full time housewife. She is very happy and lives at Ripley Trailer Court.
