ANN & LOUISE HAVEMANN

    This biography is about the two Havemann sisters, Ann and Louise. Ann Havemann attended Old Garfield from 1915 thru 1921 and graduated from Muscatine High School on Iowa Ave in 1925. She started work at Central State Bank and retired from there after 49 years of faithful service and retired as Vice President of the Bank. She still lives in Muscatine. Louise Havemann attended Old Garfield from 1917 thru 1923 and graduated from Muscatine High School on Iowa Ave in 1930. From there she went to work at P. M. Musser Library until 1943 when she left the library for Grain Processing Corporation and retired from there in 1977 as the Executive Secretary. She still lives in Muscatine with her sister Ann. When I got this information they were planning to attend the Old Garfield reunion if Ann gets to feeling better after suffering a stroke the first part of June.

    LOUISE HAVEMANN attended Old Garfield from 1917 thru 1925 and is one of the oldest members of this reunion. She has never married and from the information that I could gather I believe she worked for the library and retired from there. I may have her confused with her sister a one of them retired from GPC. Any how we hope she can make it to the reunion.
