HAZEL LAW HAHN Hazel attended Old Garfield from 1923 thru 1929. She had to quit school to work at the McKee Button Factory and in 1932 she married Linden Hahn and they had 9 children, 2 daughters and 7 sons. From these children she was presented with 26 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Hazel continued to work for various Button Factories for the next 40 years. Because her father was associated with the Button Industry she continued in the same field of work. Hazel retired in 1987 and started to draw her Social Security. She does however continue part time work doing odd jobs in the Muscatine area. She also walks about 3 miles a day. Not bad for her age. She is looking forward to seeing old classmates and friends at this reunion.
