LUCILLE M. BEHRENS FRIEDEN
(attendees list spells Freiden)Lucille attended Old Garfield from 1935-1938. She remembers Miss Coleman and Miss Rosenthal as 2 of her teachers. She graduated from MHS in 1948 and from Muscatine Junior College in 1950. She married Richard D Frieden March 11, 1951. They have 1 daughter and 1 son and have lived in Bettendorf for the last 38 years. Her and her husband are both retired. She remembers a song that was sung at Garfield but only knows the two lines and wonders if anyone knows the rest of it. "Garfield our dear school, The school that we all love." She lived at 734 Sampson Street in South-end.
