KENNETH "DOC" CARPENTER After several months of trying to locate the Carpenter Boys, I finally succeeded the week-end of June 6-7, 1007 while visiting my mother in Muscatine. With the help of Nancy Carpenter Swab, who was so nice to give me Harold's address and phone number. I called Harold to get Kenny's phone number. Here is Doc's information for the book. Doc and Jolene have been married since 1964. Kenny has 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls which presented him with 20 grandchildren and he can't remember how many great grandchildren.
Doc told me he left Muscatine after graduating from Ole Muskie High. First landing in Palatine, Illinois where he worked at a Plastic factory in the electrical department. He then moved on to Phillips, Wisconsin where he worked for Marquip Electrical and retiring 4 years ago after suffering a stroke. He now on Social Security Disability Income. I asked Doc to try and make connections with his brother Harold and come to the reunion but he said that is a long ride for him (About 8 plus hours). We hope he can make it. If he doesn't we will understand. If any one would like his address and drop him a line, see me at the reunion and I will provide it to you.
