LOIS MISKIFF BREWER Lois says that she met the most wonderful man that God made and his name is Leonard Brewer. He is so wonderful that she married him June 9, 1957. They will celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary just prior to the Old Garfield Reunion this year. They have four neat little children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Jeff, Tim, Lori and Cindy. They also have 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. They live in Fairport and go to the Open Door Baptist Church in Montpelier, Iowa.
Leonard retired from the Buffalo Iowa Cement Plant. Lois says she retired from doing a lot less of child rearing and the all around duties of the home. She is looking forward to seeing all of her old classmates and friends at the reunion.

LOIS MIDKIFF BREWER lets us know that they are snowbirds and are now in Florida for the winter months, she says to be close to her sister and mother but I know better, she want to be where it is warm and no snow. The reason I know this is because she said that she has her mail forwarded to her Florida address but still maintains a Muscatine one. She tells me she really had a good time at the "97 reunion seeing old friends and meeting new ones. She also wanted to say thank you for a job well done. I really had a great time talking with Lois and her sister Charlotte, we had so much fun growing up. She attended Old Garfield from 1943 thru 1951.
