INTRODUCTION
Directions from Muscatine; turn off Route 61 on to 231st Street (G-28) and go west for about 20 miles. Turn south on Blue Heron Avenue (gravel road). It will T into 254th Street. Turn left (east) and you will see the cemetery entrance on your right.
October 2012, Phyllis Hazen, Lynn and Bob McCleary walked Conesville Cemetery and added additional information to the data base Dave Dunston had acquired. They mapped the placement of the stones and Phyllis took pictures of them all. She submitted over 1,000 photos, to the Iowa Gravestone Photo Project. To view gravestone photos please click here.
