Married Margaret Kurts Nov. 29, 1856; she was born in Germany in 1832; have four-chidren living---Christian N., George W., John and Frank; lost three infants. Mr. W. owns 560 acres of land, valued at $30 per acre; is also Trustee of township. Member of the Lutheran Church; Democrat.
