L. G. WIGGINS, Far., Sec.6; P. O. Downey, Cedar Co.; a native of Hocking Co., Ohio; born in 1830; removed with his parents to Tippecanoe Co., Ind., 1836; in 1852, he located in Muscatine Co., Iowa, on the farm where he now resides, consisting of 478 acres. In 1854, he married Miss Amanda Adams, a native of Ohio; came to this State in 1848; they have six children--- Sylvia May ( now Mrs. McKein ), Sarah, Ann, Lucy, Etta, William F. and Cora J. Mr. W. is one of Muscatine Co's enterprising farmers. Acts with the Democrat party.
