FREDRICK SEIFERT, tailor, corner of Sixth and Mulberry streets, Muscatine; was born in Germany May11, 1825; came to this country in 1855; settled in Lehigh Co.,Penn., where he remained until 1866, in which year he came to Muscatine; four years later, he returned to Pennsylvania and remained there until 1877, when he came again to this city. He was married in 1865, to Miss Amanda E. Blose, a native of Canton Co., Penn.; they have one child---Laura Jane. Mr. Seifert and wife are members of the Lutheran Church; he is a Democrat.
