JAMES ROSBOROUGH, far., Sec. 2; P. O. Melpine; born in Dublin, Ireland, Dec. 17, 1815; came to Philadelphia April 1, 1848, thence to Muscatine and remained thirteen years, working at the carpenter's trade. He married Miss Ann A. Wallace in 1852, born in Nova Scotia April 13, 1831, and died Jan. 8, 1879; they had five sons and one daughter--Charles A., Frank, James W., Simon B. R., Sherman G. and Ann A. Mr. R. owns 143 3/4 acres of land, on which he has made all the improvements. Republican.
