A. G. McCOLM, of the firm of J. McColm & Sons, dealers in foreign and domestic dry goods and carpets, 182 and 184 Second street; is a native of Ohio, and was born in 1848; when 14 years of age, he came, with his parents, to Muscatine, and when 16 years of age, he entered his father's store, and since then he has been connected with the business. He married Miss Elloura Cowles, of Iowa, in 1869; they have three children---Anna May, Elloura and Lillian.
