JOHN KOEHLER, of the firm of Koehler Brothers, confectioners, bakers and dealers in candies, toys, fruit, nuts, cigars and tobaccos, corner Chestnut and Second streets; John Koehler was born in Germany in 1848; in 1849, his parents emigrated to this country. He married Miss Mary Buner, of this city; they have four children--Charlie, William, Stella and Frederick. Mr. K. served in Co. B, 44th I. V. I., and was honorably discharged at the expiration of his term of enlistment. He is a Democrat. Member of the I. O. O. F. and also a member of the Champion Hose Company.
