ORCHARD FARM HERDS
OF SHORT HORN CATTLE AND POLAND CHINA HOGS
.
(picture of bull)

Our herd of Short Horn Cattle is one of the largest and best in the west; it now numbers over one hundred and fifty head of the best breeding and individual merit. Our Herd Bulls are Golden Hero 119418, and Orange Aberdeen 131218; they are two of the great bulls of the state. We have over seventy head of breeding cows, twenty-five of which are of the very best Cruickshank families. Thirteen Cruickshank families are represented in the herd, and over a dozen of the standard American families, with a few of the best bates. We always have on hand both bulls and heifers for sale, as well bred as there is in the country, and always as fair prices. Recollect that you can get as good at Orchard Farm as anywhere in the United States. When you want something first-class come and see us. Our Poland Chinas are of the best breeding, and the kind that makes pork fast and cheap. We sell our Boars cheap. When you want something good, come and see what we have for yourself. Our herds are always open for inspection. You are always welcome.
        C. S. BARCLAY, PROPRIETOR.
