Iowa State Policemen’s Association

“Organized Year 1932 by and for the Rank and File of the Police Departments of the State of Iowa Exclusively”

Its’ Object: The Purposes for which this policemen and police officers association is organized is for the fostering and encouragement of a high degree of skill and efficiency in their work, this cultivation of friendship, to create a more complete co-operation and a thorough coordination by and between the many police departments in the various counties, cities, towns and villages in our State.

To help defray funeral expenses for its worthy members deceased, killed or dying from wounds received in line of duty, and the prevision of temporary relief for its worthy members and their families in certain emergencies. To encourage the state patrol for our paved highways. To act in the interest and for the benefit of all police officers and policemen employed in the police departments in the State of Iowa.
