The people of this community were very much shocked to her of the sudden death of Mrs. Patrick Tomney, caused by a heart failure. Mrs. Tomney had been sick only a few days and was not considered dangerous at any time. The morning of her death the rest of the family were at their work while Mrs. Tomney was lying down and apparently well. All of sudden she was taken with a coughing spell and before the family could be gotten together Mrs. Tomney had passed into the great beyond. Mrs. Tomney will be greatly missed in this community as she had a host of friends and the neighbors extend their sympathy to the bereaved children.
