The 62nd annual commencement exercises of the Wilton high school were held Thursday evening in the auditorium when a class of 34 received their diplomas. Dr. Samuel Garvin, Professor of Sociology of the Dubuque university delivered the address on "What's the Use." Wilbert Norton, class president, introduced the speaker. Wilbert Peterson, class representative, gave an address; Supt. A. C. Baumgartner presented the class and named the honor students and E. C. Whitmer, president of the board of education, presented the diplomas.

Musical selections were given by the girls chorus ("Ha-La-Li"), girls sextette ("Firelights"), violin duet, Phyllis Ann Mead and Miss Doris Gustafson and the processional and recessional by the high school orchestra. Honor roll, Orma Darting, Ruth Hinkhouse, Marie Koeppen, Anita Kaalberg, Betty Anita Mann, Dorothy Maurer, Wilbert Norton, Wilbert Peterson, Gretchen Martin, Frances Sambdman.

The Class Motto is "Finished, Yet Beginning," class colors, black and gold, class flower, Wild Rose.
