MUSCATINE COUNTY IOWA HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI

The Wilton High School observed its 61st annual commencement last Friday evening when a class of 27 young men and women received their diplomas.

Dr. Emil Frye, pastor of the First Methodist church of Madison, Wis., delivered the commencement address using as his subject "The Mantle of the Unfinished Past."

The commencement program was as follows:

Processional "Pomp and Chivalry"--High School Orchestra.

Invocation--Rev. R. J. Egan.

Musical Selection "Summer Time"--Girls' Chorus.

Address--Gertrude Grunder, class representative.

Musical Selection "Swanee River"--Mixed Chorus.

Introduction of Speaker--Harry Einfeldt, Jr., class president.

Address--Dr. Emil Frye.

Musical Selection "Passing By"--Boys' Quintet.

Presentation of Class--Supt. A. C. Baumgartner.

Presentation of Diplomas--H. R. Maurer, Jr., President, Board of Education.

Benediction--Rev. J. M. Newgard.

Recessional--High School Orchestra.
