H.S. COMMENCEMENT LAST THURS. EVE.
TWENTY SEVEN RECEIVE DIPLOMAS THURSDAYThe 55th annual commencement of the Wilton High School was held in the auditorium of the high school last Thursday evening when a class of 27 received diplomas.
Rev. Charles Clifford Bacon, pastor of the First Methodist church at Marshalltown and an alumnus of the school, was the speaker and delivered an address on "What Do We Want," before an audience which filled the auditorium to capacity.
The classes of 1934 and 1935 have completed the payments on the stage curtain in the auditorium and Miss Margaret Ilten, president of the class of 1934 presented to the board a receipt in full payment of same as a part of the program.
The senior class day exercises were held Friday morning in the auditorium and the program was made up as follows:Class Will----Glenn Richards
